01 Village Underground Barcelona
About
Village Underground was founded in London in 2006 with a vision of creating affordable workspaces for artists and creatives in Shoreditch.
The space, a restored Victorian warehouse and former railway viaduct, is home to old Tube carriages and shipping containers converted into studios. Its carefully curated events programme has made Village Underground a cultural landmark.
Village Underground has stayed true to its underground, independent roots, working hand in hand with a vibrant creative community of filmmakers, architects, start-ups, musicians and artists. Today it is a network of three independently run venues in London, Lisbon and now Barcelona.
In that founding spirit, Village Underground Barcelona brings a distinctive, innovative model to reflect and strengthen the local creative scene and help bring L'Hospitalet's Cultural District to life.
